Any recordings you have done that could be described as Classical, please post in here. Includes pieces one would only loosely call 'Classical' as they depart somewhat from what the composer intended. Viewable by Members and non-Members.
Listening to those chords makes the 'Marmite' pretty palatable for me. Very well played, Ken.
Frédéric Chopin was a Polish composer and virtuoso pianist of the Romantic era who wrote primarily for the solo piano. He gained and has maintained renown worldwide as a leading musician of his era, whose "poetic genius was based on a professional technique that was without equal in his generation." Chopin was born in what was then the Duchy of Warsaw and grew up in Warsaw.
A child prodigy, he completed his musical education and composed his earlier works in Warsaw before leaving Poland at the age of 20, when he settled in Paris and supported himself by selling his compositions and by teaching piano, for which he was in high demand.
Here is a YouTube clip of this piece being played on piano, the instrument it was written for.

Thanks Hugh. That Tiffany playing was beautiful. Reminds me what the Welsh Wizard once said to me ( You will know who I mean ) "The written music is only for guidance. You have to interpret it " So we see many variations of a piece on this forum. Does that mean we all hear things differently? Ken
