TDP 'off air' for a few hours today ...

Hi all,

If you tried to Log On to TDP today between 9am and 3pm you may have found that the Forum was 'off air'. I think John must have had some problem with his server (John creates websites and host them for businesses). When something like this happens I always check to see if the problem is my broadband by going to eg. https://www.google.co.uk/. If that's OK then I check out John's three websites I know he hosts:

http://www.tierce-de-picardie.co.uk

http://www.ar-group.org/smforum/index.php

and John's own website for his business: http://www.lincit.com

In this case all three were down, so I knew it wasn't me or our Forum and that John would be on the case.

If you want to contact me if anything like this happens again, there is no point sending me an email to hugh@ar-group.org as that goes 'through' AR Group .. and if that is 'down' I won't get it! I do have a 'home' email address .. hughwallington@btinternet.com .. which you can always contact me on. But don't use this address in the general run of things as I don't monitor that one very often (unless something like the above happens, and then I do look) .. contact me on the ar-group one. Yes,it was the feed into Zen that BT had a problem with. All back on now though. It was in fact back on about 11.45am.
