Posted: 29 Apr 2022 19:00Generally, I am not too keen on Jazz. I find it discordant. With everybody 'playing their own thing' all the harmony is lost. But you will have seen several places in this Forum where I have put up jazz pieces played by Gunhild Carling to illustrate certain things. I think they're great as they are amazing musicians and keep their harmony.
This is the latest one I have found.

Love it! Gunhild is a fabulous musician. She is bringing back the Big Band Era music into the 21st Century.
The elegance of the Jazz era lives on. This woman is one of the wonders of the modern World!
Just happened to see this today. I am blown away at the talent and just love that big band sound and enthusiasm of the group and especially Gunhild! I am hooked!
Think about what you're seeing here. Everyone in the room (including we at home) enjoys what she's doing BECAUSE she enjoys what she's doing. Talent doesn't explain it. Music doesn't explain it. Show business doesn't explain it. She's just one of those rare people who has a thousand hearts beating in a single body. Bless her and keep her.
