Hi

Why are you doing this as a 'Premiere'? It means we can't listen to what you are playing and have to come back and look again later. If you want us to join in just post your music so we can listen and tell you the song you are playing if we know it.

Know it well. It's on the tip of my tongue (that's not the actual name of the song).

I'm not very good at remembering names of songs, am I? Probably because I never have any music up in front of me so don't get a visual image of the names of pieces I play.

James and Torben,

There is a jazz (swing?) band I really like to listen to .. Gunhild Carling. Love the way they 'gel' together when they play.
I have just come across this YouTube post by Gunhild Carling where she is doing just this .. going 'live' in 5 days time.

So we will have to wait 5 days before we can hear what she and the Carlings Darlings are going to play.
But I can see the purpose of all this.
The idea is to get us all to 'tune in' at the specified time so we can have 'live chat' in the form of comments, questions and answers while the band are playing. In other words, it's not like a Film Premiere where we have to wait before seeing it for the first time.

Several other people have taken this approach when using YouTube as it gives them a 'live' contact with their audience.
Then once the 'broadcast' is over the YouTube video + comments scrolling down remain for you to read and digest later (but no more 'live' interaction of course).

So, James. You said that you are trying to be creative. I'm sure a lot of the Members of your Korg Forum would join you for a 'live' chat.
Perhaps tune in to this one coming up in a few days time to see how it all works.
