Hi John,

Really liked that. One of your best! You really got into the rhythm of it. For anyone who hasn't picked this up, John's opening voices are piano and strings. The piano is the dominant voice, and has had harmony echo applied to it. So the piano picks up the notes you are playing in your left hand and adds them into the mix, and you get a 'full sounding' piano being played. But the strings do not have any harmony echo applied to them so they are just playing the single melody note. A wonderful combination!

I was only talking to Jon about how to do this the other day as I wanted to do something like this, but the other way round. I had an Xylophone playing the melody and wanted a string orchestra (with multiple notes) playing quietly along with it. Jon explained to me how to set up the harmony echo for the strings, but not for the xylophone. So the xylophone played the melody, and the string orchestra were accompanying it in the background.
