Ron,

I have enjoyed putting together this Ferry Cross The Mersey video for you. There' s nothing like being creative and choosing pictures/video clips to suit what you are doing. Bronwyn and I have been to Liverpool twice, once specifically to go to the Beatles 'The Cavern', and to visit the two Cathedrals .. and the other time to catch a ferry to the Isle of Man where I have a cousin living in Ramsay.

We have been on the 'ferry across the Mersey' twice now, and Bronwyn remembered immediately from the pictures that the ferry we went on was the Snowdrop with the dazzling patterns.

I'm hopeless! You would have thought that I would have remembered that too .. but no! I remember getting the dog (a Westie) on board .. and all the places we visited in Liverpool. There are a lot of 'harbour' waterway areas and all the video clips (including those pictures of the love locks along the harbour side) are just as we remember them.
A love lock is a padlock which people attach to a fence or bridge or other permanent structure to signify their love. These locks can be found all over the world and there are some at Liverpool's Albert Dock. Locks have been added to the fences near the River Mersey decorating the chains with symbols of love. Many of them have been inscribed with messages and as you walk along, you notice beautiful and intricate padlock designs along with the with different dates such as when couples met, were engaged and married.

So finding all those pictures on pexels.com really brought back some happy memories.

Hi there I have played from the age of 13 and all my music is played in a sort of dance tempo style. Have worked in nearly all the North East clubs over the years. That gave me a good grounding. Cheers.
