Making a Registration on the Yamaha PSR S670
Part Two

As I do not have the S670 in front of me now I have to work from memory. The voices that I have chosen are by guesswork.
The voices you choose are up to you. You are the musician.
You should now have “Sept in the Rain” as a registration.

    1. Press registration button1 and your voices will be shown
    2. Press the freeze button
    3. Press the memory button then registration button 2
    4. You now have two registration button with the same voices. We now change that.
    5. Arrow up to the “Voice” section, top right box.
    6. Go to “Part Select” on the right of the panel face and make sure that Right 1 is selected and Right 2 is NOT.
    7. Press enter
    8. Press upper 8 to get the Voice Pre-set list.
    9. Use arrow keys to go to the set that you want. I chose Organ and then went to Page 3 and selected “Jazz organ”.
    10. Press Enter
    11. Press Exit- back to the home screen.
    12. Go to “Part Select” again and turn off Right 1 and turn on Right 2.
    13. . Upper 8 to get the Voices again
    14. I selected “Strings and Choir”
    15. Press enter
    16. I selected “Strings”
    17. Press Enter
    18. Press Exit
    19. Arrow down to “Register block”
    20. Press Enter
    21. Ensure that menu 2 is showing
    22. Press lower 6 to save.
    23. Press upper 8 “OK”
    24. “Yes” lower 7
    25. Press Exit
    26. Press “Freeze” button
    27. Press Memory button
    28. Press Registration button 2
    29. Press Enter
    30. Save – OK – Yes
    31. Press exit.
By now you will see the pattern for the voices. Just remember to SAVE as often as you can.
If you wish to make a NEW registration bank then when you bring up the existing one, press SAVE, delete the name and type in the new name. you won’t lose the original one but you will have a NEW bank, just follow the instructions and you will soon build up many banks of songs for yourself.
Have fun. Den
