Remember most of those, some better than others. 1950 is when girls were GIRLS and real LADIES!
Like someone wrote - Guitars and Rock and Roll killed music.
Things went well until the mid 1970"s when the thumping bass started to come in. By the time 2000 came, thumping bass and chanting really took over.
Will give me something to listen to whilst I am cleaning the house I suppose!
