A Picardy third also known as a Picardy cadence, is a major chord of the tonic at the end of a musical section that is either modal or in a minor key.
I played this 16 century carol in the key of G minor . I think that I played my last chord as G major. which means I finished with a Picarde third.

The music contains a well-known example of a Picardy third. The author is unknown; the oldest known text was written down by Robert Croo in 1534, and the oldest known setting of the melody dates from 1591.[1] There are alternative, modern settings of the carol by Kenneth Leighton and another by Philip Stopford.
I found the above quotes on Wikipedia, and I must get around to sending them a donation. J.T.

JT,

Brilliant! Love the way you did that. Again, you have got the melody playing with the chosen voice for R1 (Oboe? Saxophone?) and what appears to be the FreePlay STYLE voice. Can you just take a look at what you have set up please and tell me what VOICE you have allocated to R2?

Thank you Hugh , Dennis and JohnT for your encouraging comments.
On my PSR 970 I used two styles to play "The Coventry Carol"
The first Style was Classic Movie @79 BPM. Variation A only { R1 Classic Oboe R2 Gothic Vox then Mmh then Arpegpigo2}
The second Style was Ethereal Symphony @ 104 BPM Variation C Only {R1 Mmh . R 2 Sweet Harmonica then Live Strings then Piano Arpeggio 16 beat}
Not sure where I got the above styles from , but the only changes I made were to the tempo.
I increased the tempo on the second style I used because it didn't sound right @ 79 BPM.
